Who we are
SendACrew ("we", "us") operates a marketplace connecting business owners with local maintenance contractors via our mobile app and website.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, and role (owner or contractor).
- Job data: work order descriptions, photos, budgets, quotes, and job history.
- Location data: job site addresses; for contractors who opt in, real-time location while en route to an active job.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never store full card numbers or bank credentials.
- Communications: SMS delivery logs (via Twilio) and in-app notifications.
- Tenant/guest reports: if you report an issue through a property's report link, we collect the category, description, optional photo, and the name and contact details you provide, and share them with that property's management team.
How we use it
To match work orders with nearby contractors, process escrow payments, send transactional SMS and push notifications, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
SMS consent
Contractors receive job-alert SMS only after opting in. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
Sharing
We share data with service providers who power the platform (Supabase for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, Google Maps for geocoding) and between transaction counterparties as needed to complete a job (e.g., a contractor sees the job address after acceptance).
Retention and deletion
We retain data as long as your account is active or as required for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion by contacting privacy@sendacrew.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Contact us to exercise them.
